Mercy Health opens new walk-in care location in the Mahoning Valley

Mercy Health is expanding access to convenient, same day care in Trumbull County with the opening of its newest walk-in care location in Warren. The new clinic, located at 1552 North Road SE, Suite 202, Warren, OH 44446, officially opened its doors to patients last month and is open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday (330-423-0473).

“When you’re not feeling well, waiting days for an appointment can be difficult,” said Dr. Jim Kravec, chief clinical officer, Mercy Health – Lorain and Youngstown. “Walk-in care provides patients with a convenient option to be seen the same day by a trusted Mercy Health provider. We’re excited to open this new location in Warren and continue our commitment to providing accessible, affordable health care.”

Walk-in care is like urgent care in that patients can be seen without an appointment, but visits are billed like a standard primary care appointment, often at a lower cost. Mercy Health’s walk-in care clinics provide immediate treatment for common, non-emergency conditions, including:

Cold and flu Fever, sore throat, sinus infections Ear and eye infections Bronchitis, pneumonia and asthma Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea Urinary tract infections Minor cuts, burns, rashes and sprains School and sports physicals

Mercy Health now offers walk-in care at 11 locations through the Mahoning Valley, including Austintown, Church Hill, Columbiana, East Palestine, Howland, North Lima, Salem, Sebring, Wick, Canfield and Warren.
